Since 1989 Mister Dean Li lives and works with his family in Hamburg.
Deliberately reclusive, he has spent much time aiding those who require help with their lives. Characteristically for master Li’s authentic work style and way of living is his gift, to understand and appeal to the people who meet him and his decent, open and unconventional way of working at a deep, humane level.

To comply with the ever increasing following, master Dean Li now passes his penetrative experiences with energy work, since 2006, in his Qigong school. His aim in this function as teacher is to demonstrate the special possibilities of self-healing and preoccupation as well as new dimensions of the spiritual and mental evolvement to many people.
Beyond that he gets, as honorary chairman of DEAN-association, involved in projects for the co-operation and further holistic development of people in terms of the method Yang Sheng Tong Mai since 2009.

Dean Li is a Qigong master and doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Kanton in South China. In the age of 7 years, he was discovered by a wandering master of Qigong and the traditional healing art who saw the gift and potential of the boy. He was one of the great old erudite, who deeply affect others and benefit the ill. They excel in giving advice and yet do not take pride in personal fame. His pupil was totally personal supported in the traditional style.
With him Dean Li went for a long journey of spiritual and practical learning, which engraved his development decisively. Theory and praxis were on the long years of wanderings with his teacher in the different, mostly rural regions of China always combined.
That way he learnt authentically the origins of Qigong as well as of traditional Chinese medicine and its healing impacts. Sections in philosophy and martial arts complement this integral and individual schooling.
Dean’s master exposed his young pupil also with many other masters and erudites.
So he was given the opportunity, to adept the complex diversity of Qigong and the traditional healing work and obtained a comprehensive schooling, which was accorded only to a few in his time.

After the additional study of traditional Chinese medicine in his home town Kanton, Dean worked in several clinics of this region.
1980 he developed his own Qigong method Yang Shang Tong Mai, which is also known as Dean Qigong. As doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong master Dean Li became generally known far beyond the boundaries of the Chinese provinces.
